Metallized paper provides an ecological alternative as a mono-product versus laminates and foils for the end-user.
As the aluminum layer is extremely thin, the metallization process does not impact recyclability of the substrate. ARM’s products come with a certification of repulpability in a conventional recycling chain.
Also, the high glossy appearance is an important differentiator on the shelf.
