To check the water quality at the steam generating samples on fresh water, feed water, boiler water and
condensate on possible should be removed.
Except for the fresh water, all samples are hot and some were under pressure. A measurement of water
levels under temperature can lead to erroneous results. If you wait until the samples are cooled, it can
lead to changes in the water.
Boiler water and condensate can not be removed easily, since they are under pressure.
The sample cooler is ideal for cooling and removal of water samples.
To perform these measurements better pipes are determined by the sampling points to the sample
cooler, in which the sample water is cooled by a heat exchanger with cold water.
A sample cooler is always recommended, but is strongly recommended for difficult water conditions.
