3500-with-infeed-screwDesigned specifically to resolve the profit eroding problems associated with variations in hopper head pressure, Spee-Dee® Packaging Machinery’s NEW Variable Speed Infeed Auger will significantly enhance the productivity of your packaging operations.

The Infeed Auger, a short feed screw that mounts directly to the Spee-Dee Digitronic® Auger, receives dry product from the bulk supply and conveys it to the dispensing auger hopper. By controlling the speed and delivery rate of the Infeed Auger, product and pressure levels in the hopper remain constant and fill accuracy and repeatability are significantly improved. Speed and delivery rate parameters are set using the standard Spee-Dee touch screen.

While a typical feed screw measures 6 inches in diameter and is two feet in length, screws up to 8 inches in diameter and up to 10 feet in length are also available to address special packaging volume requirements.
