IPS ® Technology
INDAG High Power Heating System (IPS ®), developed and patented by WILD-INDAG, is a new technology for the heating of foodstuffs which combines the advantages of the Ohmic heating and the Microwave/Radio-Frequency heating technologies. With IPS ® , products containing both liquids and chunks, as well as highly viscous products, can be heated efficiently, quickly and gently - without the quality losses immanent in conventional heating methods.
Wide range of application
IPS ® is especially suitable for the heating of liquid products including chunks and highly viscous foodstuffs. It can be employed for:
fruit preparations and dressings with high fruit content (also sterile, for pH-neutral products)
premium marmalades of high chunk content
caramel, vanilla or chocolate sauces
convenience food with vegetables and meat
soups
ketchup, salsa sauces and all foodstuffs which can be pumped and which have to be heated or cooked in a gentle way.

Maximum product quality
The natural product characteristics such as color, taste, texture, and smell are preserved in an unprecedented quality. In addition, the transfer of undesired reaction products of the electrolysis into the product is avoided.
Efficient energy transfer
Electrical energy in the shape of heat is transferred into the product in an extremely efficient and reliable way. Due to this high efficiency, as well as CIP being carried out at low temperatures, energy can be saved.
High flow volume at peak temperatures
The IPS ® Plants which are already in operation reach a flow volume of up to three tons of product per hour with peak temperatures of up to 140 °C within 90 seconds.
